Agile project management is a popular software development methodology that is iterative, user-focused and adaptive to change. ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a set of IT Service Management best practices to ensure clients receive the best customer service and IT services are continually improved. University of Waterloo Library’s Digital Initiatives department is applying agile techniques like Scrum and Kanban and ITIL service management best practices to manage multiple projects concurrently, manage sprints, and track progress. This session will cover how web development team efficiencies can be improved, and made to be more flexible and collaborative with clients.
