Engaging Older Adults with Technology

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Older adults are a growing user group with unique and varied needs when it comes to engaging with emerging technologies. From savvy boomers volunteering to walk alongside beginners, to space designated for a Skype lounge guaranteed to delight grandparents, to social media classes geared toward 50+, public libraries of all sizes are meeting the needs of older adults in new and exciting ways. Attendees will leave this session with best practices and new ideas for addressing the technology needs of older adults and will have an opportunity to share their own success stories.
